Mrs. Lynch's Kindergarten

In kindergarten, your child will not have nightly homework assignments. Instead, I encourage you to read aloud to your child at least 15 minutes a night. Research has shown that reading aloud is the most important thing you can do to prepare your child for reading and learning. Your child will bring home books each night that you can read together. You may also read any books that you have at your house or borrow from the public library. After reading, please record the books read on your child's reading log. Students will be able to turn in their reading logs to earn fun reading prizes!
